AN OPEN HOUSE IN THE GARDEN

Architecture and Interior Design Project in Girona
Comprehensive renovation of a single-family home in the Eixample district of Girona. The intervention completely transforms the existing layout to accommodate the needs of the new users.

On the ground floor, a diaphanous space is created where the living room and kitchen connect with the garden, which includes a swimming pool and various seating and barbecue areas. This level also includes a bedroom and a bathroom.

The height of the building allows for the creation of a new upper floor, intended for a large suite with a dressing room, bathroom, and workspace. This floor is visually connected to the living room on the ground floor, establishing an open and fluid spatial connection between levels.

The interior design relies on a careful and limited selection of materials, such as micro-cement and wood, which define a contemporary Mediterranean style and provide warmth to the home.
