Single-family house in St. Martí de Llémena.
This home is situated on a slope surrounded by vegetation, taking advantage of the natural terrain gradient to organize two distinct levels. The stone base, integrated into the landscape, houses the sleeping area and establishes a direct dialogue with the ground and the garden. Above, two lightweight wood and metal volumes open up to the forest with large south-facing openings, creating a fluid relationship between the interior and the exterior.
The sloped roof and natural wood ceilings provide warmth and continuity, while the contrast with the dark exterior cladding reinforces the architectural presence of the upper volumes. Light and views flow through the entire house, generating spaces that combine intimacy and openness to the landscape.
The architecture seeks a balance between rusticity and contemporaneity: a house that belongs to the place, built with natural materials, energy-efficient, and designed to live in harmony with a dreamlike environment.
