Architecture and Interior Design Project in Girona
Interior design project in Girona aimed at unifying the kitchen and living room to modernize the spaces and enhance natural light in a kitchen that previously felt dark and cramped.
The new organization revolves around an island that articulates the kitchen and the living room, integrating uses and fostering the relationship between both areas. This piece blends with the kitchen furniture and the lighting, which has been designed to provide warmth and continuity to the space.
One of the unique elements of the intervention is the separation between the living room and the hallway, resolved with vertical wooden studs and glass panels. This solution generates transparency, lightness, and a material dialogue with the wooden flooring, which unifies the entire floor plan and adds domestic warmth.
The result is a contemporary, bright, and welcoming environment, where the kitchen and living room merge into a single space for everyday life.
